On November 21, 2024, at the Grand Phoenix Bac Ninh Hotel, AIE Company in collaboration with Altair Engineering successfully organized a workshop on “How to improve the quality of die casting products”. The event received the attention and participation of many leaders, directors, department heads, and leading experts in the field of die casting.

Opening the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tien – Business Development Director of AIE – emphasized the important role of die casting in modern industry. Simulation and prediction of casting product defects using artificial intelligence

Mr. Hoang Phi, Application Engineer at Altair Engineering, delivered an impressive presentation on how to apply simulation technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate the metal casting process and improve product quality. The presentation consisted of 5 parts, introducing an overview of manufacturing simulation solutions, focusing on Inspire Cast software – a tool that helps accurately predict and minimize defects in metal casting such as porosity, eddy currents or shrinkage. With a friendly interface and diverse optimization capabilities, Inspire Cast is suitable for both novice engineers and experienced experts. In particular, the integration of AI has shortened the analysis time from hours to just seconds, saving costs and increasing efficiency for businesses.
